Amare Kenya

Amare Kenya is Amare Coopera's initiative to support teenage mothers facing motherhood in Kibera one of Africa's largest urban settlements in Nairobi.

Teenage mothers, in particular, are a vulnerable group facing additional challenges: they must raise their children while seeking to complete their education and find ways to support themselves.

Amare Kenya currently has two projects: The Jasiri Project, which aims to empower young mothers to achieve a more stable and secure life; and the Kibera Tour, which aims to showcase the community's artistic and craft work and initiatives and raise funds.
